Of all the jobs in the world we could be doing on any given day, we get to photograph love and family. We can’t imagine a better life.
We are journalistic-style photographers who participate in your day, blending documentary imagery with editorial style. We like to shoot with minimal posing, letting the day guide the motion, and hanging on for the ride, witnessing your authentic, tender moments, as they happen.
While we are based in Kansas City, we travel worldwide for love and family.
ABOUT Sydney
A child at heart, I want to see magic everywhere, so my imagination runs particularly wild when I’m reading fiction, watching a movie, or getting lost in the lyrics of my favorite songs.
My photos prioritize natural light, funk, and a celebration of life exactly as it is. Did you ever read “the B.F.G” in school? Remember how the giant bottles and distributes happy dreams so the children don’t have nightmares? That’s my dream: to bottle up your happy moments for you so they can always be there.
Wen I’m not behind the camera, I spend my days with the love of my life. We met in college, then again in Paris, and eventually fell in love in New York. Our love story is sweet, and I can’t wait to hear yours!

Sam is a photographer and musician refined through his fun experiences and travels.
Creativity brings Sam life, and being able to create and connect with people through photography is unbelievably rewarding. The goal is always to make people feel beautiful. Sam’s younger self is his biggest inspiration, and he loves reconnecting with that imaginative, youthful spirit.
He’s been capturing photographs for 10+ years and really loves it, but decided to hitch his wagon to Syd and embark on a dual photography journey because life is so much more fun with people.
In addition to capturing magic on camera, Sam loves music, doodling, and socializing. What’s life without people, after all? Sam excels at setting the mood and creating the vibe so everyone feels welcome.

Syd is married to the love of her life, Ethan, who introduced her to Sam back in 2014.
Sam and his boyfriend are the cutest cuties who ever walked this earth and have been together for a year.
